13000 Test Runs for Rahul Dravid

Star Indian batsmen and the wall of Indian Cricket Team, Rahul Dravid climbed another mountain of success when he completed 13000 runs in his test cricket career spanning 15 years. He achieved this feat on the third day of the 3rd test match between West Indies and India at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Thus Rahul Dravid becomes only the second cricketer and second Indian to get 13000 test runs. Rahul Dravid now has 13061 runs in 277 innings at the healthy average of 53.31, and is only behind Sachin Tendulkar (15147) in terms of total runs in test cricket. Rahul Dravid was out on 82 and missed on his 37th century.

In his innings of 82 with 11 boundaries Rahul Dravid completed 1000 runs in test in 2011 and became the first cricketer to do so.
